TeacherActive is working with a specialist SEND provision based in Northumberland supporting children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The setting provides a nurturing and supportive environment focused on emotional wellbeing, positive relationships and personalised learning to help students succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities

  • The successful SEND Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, supporting students with SEMH needs and promoting a positive and structured learning environment across the provision.

Qualifications

  • QTS
  • Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
