TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Outstanding boys Grammar School based in Birmingham, who are looking to appoint an Art Teacher. The school has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and provides a supportive environment where students are encouraged to develop both creatively and academically.
The school is looking to take on a motivated Art Teacher from September 1st on a long-term supply basis, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right Art Teacher. The successful Art Teacher will be teaching Art across KS3, KS4 and KS5, taking on full teaching responsibilities including lesson planning, assessment, marking and contributing to the wider life of the department.
The successful Art Teacher will have:
- QTS with an Art specialism
- Experience teaching Art across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Experience teaching Art at Key Stage 5 / KS5
- Excellent classroom management
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for creative education
- A positive attitude and commitment to student progress
