Salary: £170 - £250 per day

Are you a passionate Art Teacher with the ability to inspire creativity and engage students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4? Do you have strong classroom management skills and a commitment to raising attainment? Are you looking for a long-term Art Teacher position in a supportive secondary school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school in Salford that is looking to appoint a dedicated Art Teacher. The school promotes a positive learning culture where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential, supported by a committed leadership team and an inclusive ethos. The school is looking to take on an Art Teacher on a long-term basis.

The successful Art Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4, planning and assessing student progress, and maintaining high standards of behaviour and achievement within the classroom.

Qualifications

  • QTS with an Art specialism
  • Experience teaching Art up to Key Stage 4 / KS4
  • Strong knowledge of the secondary Art curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • The ability to motivate and engage students of varying abilities
  • A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
