Hours: Full-time 5 days per week
Have you got a wealth of experience teaching Art & Design and are looking for a new challenge? Would you like to reap the benefits of a fun and flexible teaching position? A large well-respected secondary school in South Birmingham is seeking to appoint an Art & Design Teacher to start work after the summer break. The role will be on a full-time basis but part-time hours could be considered if preferred. The post is initially on a long-term basis, with the potential of leading to a permanent contract for the right Art & Design Teacher.
The Head Teacher is looking for someone with:
- a positive attitude to teaching,
- an enthusiastic and dynamic approach in the classroom,
- high expectations of learning.
In return, the Art & Design Teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment. Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.
Applicants need to have:
- QTS with an Art & Design specialism,
- experience teaching Art & Design up to at least KS4,
- strong classroom management,
- a real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with.
