Inspire the next generation of animal care professionals. An established Further Education college in Berkshire is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Animal Management Lecturer to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional or experienced educator to make a real impact in a practical, hands-on learning environment.
You will deliver engaging, high-quality teaching across Animal Management programmes, supporting learners to develop both academic understanding and real-world skills. The role involves planning and delivering lessons, assessing learner progress, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning culture.
- Deliver inspiring Animal Management lessons across FE levels
- Plan, assess and track learner progress in line with awarding body requirements
- Maintain high standards of teaching, learning and classroom management
- Support learners' academic and personal development
- Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a qualification in Animal Management or a related discipline
- Teaching qualification
- Experience working with animals in an educational or industry setting
