The school is looking to appoint a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant on a part time basis from 1st June, moving to full time from 4th September. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting children with various Autism / ASD needs, working closely on both a one-to-one and two-to-one basis to support learning, engagement and emotional wellbeing throughout the school day.

The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will have:

  • Experience supporting children with Autism / ASD
  • Experience working with children with SEN / ALN
  • The ability to work one-to-one and two-to-one with pupils
  • A patient, caring and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • The ability to commit to full time work from September
