TeacherActive are looking for qualified or highly experienced One to One Teaching Assistants in Abergavenny and surrounding areas. The successful candidates will need to either have a Teaching Assistant qualification or have at least 6 months experience within a classroom setting.
You will need to be flexible from 08:30am – 15:45pm and be able to work in both the foundation phase as well as Key Stage 2 / KS2. You will be expected to fully submerge yourself into nursery life, becoming a part of the family, ensuring you’re creating a home from home environment for your pupils.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or at least 6 months experience within a classroom setting.
- Ability to get stuck in with the children creating a fun learning environment for all.
- A caring, positive approach to working with young children.
- A good knowledge of the Child Protection / Safeguarding procedures.
