Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child\’s education? We are seeking a dedicated 121 Teaching Assistant to support primary school pupils in Exeter, providing focused, one-on-one assistance to help them thrive in the classroom.

The Role

  • Providing one-on-one support to a pupil with specific learning needs
  • Assisting with class activities, ensuring the pupil remains engaged and supported
  • Implementing tailored learning strategies in collaboration with the teacher and SENCO
  • Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive social interactions
  • Supporting emotional and behavioural needs in a nurturing and patient manner

What We Are Looking For

  • A patient, compassionate, and proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Experience working with children, especially in a 121 or SEN support role, preferred but not required
  • A relevant Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification preferred but not required
  • An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
