Are you passionate about making a real difference in a child\’s education? We are seeking a dedicated 121 Teaching Assistant to support primary school pupils in Exeter, providing focused, one-on-one assistance to help them thrive in the classroom.
The Role
- Providing one-on-one support to a pupil with specific learning needs
- Assisting with class activities, ensuring the pupil remains engaged and supported
- Implementing tailored learning strategies in collaboration with the teacher and SENCO
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive social interactions
- Supporting emotional and behavioural needs in a nurturing and patient manner
What We Are Looking For
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working with children, especially in a 121 or SEN support role, preferred but not required
- A relevant Teaching Assistant or SEN qualification preferred but not required
- An enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
