The school is looking to appoint a dedicated History Teacher from November 2026 on a full-time, long-term basis to cover maternity leave. The successful History Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging History lessons across a combination of Key Stages, assessing student progress and maintaining high standards of teaching and classroom management.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECTs are also welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and a sound understanding of the History curriculum
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to different abilities
- A positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching
