TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream secondary school based in Stockport, which has been rated 'Good' by Ofsted. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment, with a strong focus on helping students develop academically and personally.
The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a long-term temporary basis, supporting students across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful Teaching Assistant will work alongside teaching staff to support students with their learning, encourage engagement in lessons and help maintain a positive classroom environment.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience working with secondary-aged students
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable
- Experience supporting students across KS3 and KS4
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A patient and adaptable approach
- A positive 'can-do' attitude
