TeacherActive is looking for a reliable School Cleaner to support a school in S44. Your work will help keep the school clean, hygienic and ready for pupils and staff each day.
What does the role involve?
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and wiping surfaces.
- Emptying bins and replenishing hygiene supplies.
- Using cleaning products and equipment safely.
- Following the school’s cleaning schedule and health and safety procedures.
- Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or supply shortages.
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school or similar setting.
- Good attention to detail and pride in their work.
- A reliable, punctual approach.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An understanding of safe cleaning practices, including COSHH.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
