TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Good OFSTED‑rated secondary school based in Oldham, who are looking to appoint a dedicated English Teacher. The school provides a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential and develop a passion for learning.
The school is looking to take on an enthusiastic English Teacher on a full‑time, long‑term basis, starting ASAP. The successful English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4, assessing student progress and maintaining high standards of classroom behaviour.
Key Responsibilities
- QTS with an English specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching English across KS3 and KS4
- Strong knowledge of the English National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom management skills
- The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- A positive, adaptable attitude and strong communication skills
