The successful Teaching Assistant will be supporting pupils across Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2, providing both 1:1 support and small group interventions, including supporting children with SEND to access learning and develop their confidence and independence.
Qualifications and experience required:
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification / Level 2 or Level 3 (desirable but not essential)
- Previous experience working within a mainstream primary school setting
- Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities / SEND
- Experience delivering 1:1 pupil support and working with small groups across different year groups
- Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
- A patient, positive and understanding approach, with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
