The school is looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor for long-term placements, with flexible day‑to‑day work also available. The successful Cover Supervisor will supervise classes across the secondary age range, deliver pre‑planned work, confidently manage classroom behaviour and use their strong IT skills to support lesson delivery and ensure students remain focused and engaged.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- Previous experience working as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom‑based role within a secondary school
- Proven experience managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment
- Strong IT skills, including confidence using school systems, interactive whiteboards and digital learning resources
- Confidence delivering pre‑planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects
- Excellent classroom management, communication and organisational skills
- A flexible, reliable and proactive approach, with the ability to manage challenging situations confidently
