Further Education college in Carmarthen that is looking to appoint a Motor Vehicle Technician.
The college provides a practical learning environment where students can develop the
skills and knowledge needed for their future careers.
This is a
full-time temporary opportunity, with the potential to become
permanent for the right candidate.
The successful Motor Vehicle Technician will use their practical automotive knowledge and experience to support the
Motor Vehicle provision and help maintain a
safe, organised and effective workshop environment.
The successful Motor Vehicle Technician will have:
- A minimum Level 2 qualification in Motor Vehicle Service and Maintenance, or substantial practical experience working as a mechanic
- Strong knowledge of motor vehicle servicing and maintenance
- Practical experience working with motor vehicles in a workshop environment
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and organised working environment
- A DBS on the Update Service is desirable
- A reliable and adaptable approach to work
