TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of primary schools across Wakefield, supporting them with their staffing requirements.
We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive and reliable Primary School Teachers who are confident delivering engaging lessons and creating a positive learning environment.
Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day supply, short-term placements or a longer-term opportunity, we have a range of roles available to suit your experience and availability.
The Successful Primary School Teacher Will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Have a minimum of 6 months' experience working in a primary school setting.
- Hold an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
The Role Will Involve:
- Delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Supporting pupils of varying abilities and learning needs.
- Creating a safe, inclusive and positive classroom environment.
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively.
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and other school staff.
- Adapting to different school settings, routines and expectations.
- Providing continuity of learning during teacher absences.
