TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Altrincham with a Good OFSTED rating, who are looking to appoint a Humanities Teacher. The school provides a positive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for learning.
The school is looking to take on a Humanities Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis starting after October half term. The successful Humanities Teacher will teach Humanities across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging lessons in RE, Geography and/or History while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and academic progress.
The successful Humanities Teacher will have:
- QTS, with ECTs also welcomed to apply
- Experience teaching Humanities across KS3 and KS4
- Strong subject knowledge in RE, Geography and/or History
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
