TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream Secondary School in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a PE Teacher. The school provides a positive and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to develop their confidence, teamwork and enthusiasm for physical education.
The school is looking for a PE Teacher to provide day-to-day or long-term cover across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4. The successful PE Teacher will deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons, encourage active participation and maintain strong classroom and behaviour management.
The successful PE Teacher will have:
- QTS with a PE specialism (ECTs are welcome to apply)
- Experience teaching PE within a UK secondary school
- Experience teaching Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Excellent communication skills
- An enthusiastic and adaptable approach to teaching
