The school is dedicated to ensuring all pupils, including those with additional learning needs, receive the support and encouragement they need to thrive.
The school is looking to appoint a dedicated ALN Learning Support Assistant on a long-term temporary basis with an immediate start. The successful ALN LSA will work closely with teaching staff to support pupils both academically and socially, helping them to engage positively with their learning and develop their confidence and independence.
The successful ALN Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience working with ALN/SEN pupils
- Previous experience within a school or educational setting
- A patient, caring and supportive approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
- Confidence supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- An adaptable and flexible approach to supporting different learning needs
- A genuine passion for helping young people succeed
