We are looking for an experienced Residential Support Worker to join a supportive setting in Trafford, working with children and young people who require additional support.
This is a long‑term, full‑time opportunity with an immediate start, ideal for someone who has worked in children’s residential care, youth support, SEND, SEMH or a similar environment.
The Role:
- Supporting children and young people with their individual needs
- Building positive, trusting relationships and providing consistent support
- Promoting independence, confidence and positive behaviour
- Supporting young people who may display challenging behaviour
- Providing emotional and practical support throughout the day
- Working closely with colleagues to maintain a safe, structured and supportive environment
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience working with children or young people
- Ideally has experience within residential care, SEND, SEMH, youth work or behaviour support
- Is calm, patient, resilient and confident when dealing with challenging situations
- Can build strong relationships while maintaining professional boundaries
- Is reliable and committed to a long‑term, full‑time position
- Is available for an immediate start
Pay: £92.63 – £115 per day, dependent on experience.
