TeacherActive is recruiting a KS1 Primary Teacher with QTS for regular supply work at a welcoming primary school in Newark, NG24. For the right teacher, this could lead to a long-term placement.

Role includes:
- Delivering engaging lessons across the KS1 curriculum.
- Supporting early reading, writing and mathematics.
- Adapting teaching to suit pupils’ abilities and learning needs.
- Creating a nurturing classroom with consistent routines.
- Monitoring progress and sharing feedback with school staff.
Successful KS1 Primary Teacher will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching the UK primary curriculum.
- Secure knowledge of phonics and early learning.
- A warm, patient approach and effective behaviour management.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
