These schools aim to create welcoming and engaging learning environments where students are encouraged to develop their skills, build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to work on a flexible day-to-day basis, with the potential to secure long-term opportunities. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for supervising classes across KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-planned work in the absence of teaching staff, maintaining positive behaviour and ensuring students remain focused throughout their lessons.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
- Previous experience working with children or young people aged 11-16
- Experience working in a classroom or educational environment is desirable
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- The ability to communicate effectively with students and school staff
- A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to working in different school environments
