As a Teaching Assistant / Sports Coach, you will work closely with teachers and students across various schools in Bury St Edmunds, providing support academically and through sports-based activities. Your role will be to encourage student engagement, promote physical well-being, and help create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and student supervision
  • Assisting students with their learning, particularly in PE and sports-related activities
  • Organizing and coaching sports sessions and extracurricular activities
  • Encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among students
  • Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
