The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are working closely with a number of SEMH schools, Pupil Referral Units and Alternative Provisions seeking resilient, adaptable teachers who are passionate about supporting pupils who have faced barriers to mainstream education. This is a highly rewarding role for teachers who thrive in smaller settings and are confident working with challenging behaviour, trauma-informed practice and complex needs.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching small classes of pupils with SEMH and additional needs
  • Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation, behaviour and re‑engagement with learning
  • Building positive, consistent relationships with pupils
  • Working collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs and pastoral teams

Qualifications

  • Hold QTS or QTLS (essential)
  • Have experience working in an SEMH, PRU or Alternative Provision setting (highly desirable)
  • Be calm, consistent and confident with behaviour management
  • Have a flexible, solution‑focused approach to teaching
