TeacherActive are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEND & SEMH Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a fantastic primary school in Tower Hamlets.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children with SEND, SEMH and additional needs, helping pupils build confidence, manage their emotions and achieve their full potential.
The Role:
Full-time, Monday-Friday
Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH needs
Providing 1:1 and small-group support
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and the wider support team
Helping pupils engage positively with learning and school life
Previous experience supporting children with SEND and/or SEMH
Strong understanding of behaviour and emotional regulation
A patient, nurturing and resilient approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience working within a primary school setting is desirable
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
Safeguarding and DBS Compliance
Registration may involve an enhanced DBS check, ID checks and the supply of good professional references, depending on the role. We are committed to safeguarding and compliance across all placements.
