They are now looking for a caring, dedicated, and proactive Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
About the Role
As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your day-to-day work will involve supporting students in the classroom, providing focused help to individuals and small groups, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. This is an incredibly rewarding role where you can directly influence young people’s confidence, progress, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students during lessons to help them engage and achieve
- Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions when required
- Assist learners who may have additional academic, social, emotional, or behavioural needs
- Help teachers with classroom preparation, organisation, and resources
- Promote positive learning attitudes and encourage resilience and independence
Ideal Candidate Qualities
- Experience working with young people (school-based or similar setting)
- Calm, kind, and patient with a positive attitude
- Passionate about supporting learning and building confidence
- Able to use initiative and adapt to different students’ needs
- A great team player with strong communication skills
