The Role
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the primary school curriculum.
- Support pupils’ academic progress, confidence and personal development.
- Create a safe, welcoming and inclusive learning environment.
- Assess and monitor pupils’ progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and school leadership.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), or an appropriate recognised teaching qualification.
- Has experience teaching within a primary school setting.
- Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Is passionate about helping children achieve their best.
- Can adapt teaching approaches to meet a range of learning needs.
- Is reliable, flexible and committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
