Mainstream Primary School - Droitwich Spa

Full-Time | Term-Time Only - Monday - Friday - 8.30am -3.30pm - (Please also apply if interested in flexible cover as this is an option)
We are supporting a welcoming mainstream primary school, that are looking to appoint a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team during term time with immediate start. In this role you will need to build rapport with students in the school who need additional support, both within the classroom, and also supporting some of them 1:1 in some quiet time outside the classroom, if they need time out to work in a more focused area.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is calm under pressure, resilient, and passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of children who may require additional behavioural and emotional support throughout the school day.
What We're Looking For:
- Confidence in managing and responding to challenging behaviours in a positive and professional manner
- The ability to support children who may arrive at school upset, anxious, or dis regulated
- A calm, patient, and nurturing approach when helping children regulate their emotions
- The ability to think quickly on your feet and adapt to changing situations throughout the school day
- Strong relationship-building skills to help pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn
- Experience working with children with SEMH, SEND, or behavioural needs is desirable
