TeacherActive is looking for a one-to-one Teaching Assistant / 1:1 TA to work in primary schools across the Torfaen area. The role involves working closely with pupils who require additional support in the classroom. Positions are currently temporary with the potential to become permanent if the school likes you. This is a great chance to gain CPD experience and keep everyday exciting. Applications from Welsh speakers are encouraged.
Ideal Candidate:- At least Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
- A calm, patient and caring persona
- Good communication skills
- Good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
All supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis.
