Do you enjoy supporting children and developing children? Do you have a minimum of Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent? We are looking for a Level 3 Childcare Qualified Nursery Assistant to work in a Nursery in the Newport area. The position is part time, working 5 days a week, 12:15 - 15:45, term time only. This is a permanent position for the right candidate. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting.
The ideal Nursery Assistant should have the following:
- At least Level 3 qualified in Childcare
- 6 months experience working with children
- A calm, patient and caring persona
- Good communication skills
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
The successful Nursery Assistant will be paid a minimum of £14.25 per hour. All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
