TeacherActive is proud to be working with a small and welcoming nursery based near the centre of Exeter. The setting promotes an inclusive and culturally diverse environment where every child is supported to thrive, with a strong focus on building positive relationships and a nurturing atmosphere.
The nursery is looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Manager on a permanent, full-time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading a small team, ensuring high standards of care and education, and maintaining compliance with EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
The successful Nursery Manager will have:
- Level 3 qualification in Childcare or above
- Previous experience in Leadership role
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Maths GCSE
- Experience leading and supporting a team
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- A positive, proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude
