Do you hold QTS and have a strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum?
The school is looking to take on a permanent Primary SEND Teacher on a full-time basis, working directly with Primary-aged pupils with a range of additional needs. The successful Primary SEND Teacher will support pupils with needs including Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD and Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD, adapting lessons and teaching strategies to ensure pupils can engage with the Primary Curriculum and make meaningful progress.
The successful Primary SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience teaching Primary-aged children with additional needs
- Experience supporting pupils with Autism / ASD, Learning Difficulties / LD or Attention Deficit Disorder / ADD
- A strong understanding of the Primary Curriculum and the ability to adapt learning to individual needs
- Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
