TeacherActive is looking for enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support primary schools in NG5 8BU and the surrounding areas. With flexible supply opportunities available, you can make a positive difference to children’s learning while working around your availability.
The role will involve:
- Supporting learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Working with pupils individually and in small groups.
- Helping the teacher prepare resources and classroom activities.
- Providing tailored support for pupils with SEND.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, independence and participation.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
- A relevant qualification or experience supporting children in education.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different classrooms and school routines.
- An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
