ALN Behaviour Teacher
Location: Newport

Salary: £175 per day
Are you a qualified ALN Behaviour Teacher with experience supporting Primary-aged pupils with additional learning needs?
Do you have experience supporting children with Autism / ASD and Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs?
Are you confident managing challenging behaviour while creating a positive and engaging learning environment?
The PRU is looking to take on an experienced ALN Behaviour Teacher on a temporary, full-time basis, starting ASAP. The successful ALN Behaviour Teacher will work with Primary-aged pupils, delivering engaging lessons while providing consistent behaviour management and adapting their approach to meet the individual needs of pupils with ASD and SEMH.
Responsibilities
- QTS or recognised equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching or supporting Primary-aged pupils with ALN
- Experience working with children with ASD and SEMH needs
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet individual learning and behavioural needs
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
