Salary: £168 - £232 per day

TeacherActive is working with a well-known and well-respected secondary school based in the Derby area. The school is located in the picturesque Derbyshire countryside and is a community school with a warm feel, boasting fantastic facilities and offering opportunities both inside and outside of lessons to promote students’ engagement, helping them flourish personally and academically.

The school is looking to take on a full-time MFL teacher specialising in French and Spanish for Key Stages 3 and 4 on a long-term basis for an absence cover. The successful applicant will be working across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including exam preparation for GCSEs. The role will be paramount in helping students achieve excellent results in the subject, whilst following and implementing the schemes of learning.

Responsibilities:
  • Work across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including exam preparation for GCSEs.
  • Help students achieve excellent results in MFL by following and implementing the school’s schemes of learning.
Qualifications:
  • QTS with MFL / French / Spanish specialism (ECTs welcomed).
  • Experience teaching French up to A-Level, Spanish up to GCSE.
  • Excellent classroom management.
