The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Learning Support Assistant will be providing 1:1 support to pupils within the classroom, assisting with lesson activities, managing behaviour and working closely with teaching staff to ensure pupils remain engaged and motivated throughout the school day.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience working with children and young people in a mainstream secondary school
- Experience providing 1:1 support to pupils across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively alongside teaching staff
- A caring, patient and nurturing approach with a willingness to adapt to individual learning needs
