TeacherActive is proud to be working with a SEN school in Dartford who are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant. The school supports children with additional needs and provides a safe and supportive learning environment where pupils can access their education and receive the individual care they require.
The school is looking to take on a Learning Support Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful Learning Support Assistant will provide 1-1 support, assist pupils during lessons, support children with personal care and challenging behaviour, and help to ensure their safety and wellbeing within the classroom.
The successful Learning Support Assistant will have:
- Experience supporting children with SEN and additional needs
- Experience providing 1-1 support
- Experience supporting children with challenging behaviour
- Confidence supporting children with personal care
- A patient, caring and resilient approach
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
