TeacherActive is proud to be working with an Alternative provision in Nottingham who are looking to secure a DSL and Attendance Lead on a temp to perm, full time basis.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the strategic lead for safeguarding, advising the senior leadership team.
  • Monitor, track and maintain accurate attendance records using the Provision's MIS system.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge and experience of working with disaffected pupils in a school or other alternative setting.
  • A passion for working with pupils with behavioural, emotional and social difficulties.
  • Previous relevant experience.
  • Qualified and experienced safeguarding practitioner with up-to-date training as a DSL and deep knowledge of statutory guidance (e.g. KCSIE), local thresholds, and procedures.
  • Experience in an Alternative Provision or similar setting.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
