The Role
- Supervise classes during short-term teacher absences
- Deliver pre-prepared work and ensure pupils remain engaged
- Support pupils with their learning where appropriate
- Maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
- Build strong relationships with pupils and school staff
- Follow school policies and procedures
- Provide reliable and consistent support to the school
- Communicate confidently with pupils and staff through the medium of Welsh
What We're Looking For
- Welsh-speaking
- Experience working with children or young people
- Confident managing a classroom
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Reliable, professional and adaptable approach
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
