Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for flexible work across Leicester City?
TeacherActive is working with a range of SEND schools and specialist provisions that are looking for passionate, adaptable teachers to support pupils with a variety of additional needs.
Whether you are looking for day-to-day supply, part-time hours or longer-term work, we can offer flexibility around your availability.
The role may include:
- Teaching pupils with a range of SEND needs
- Delivering engaging and accessible lessons
- Adapting learning to individual needs and abilities
- Supporting pupils with communication, behaviour and emotional regulation
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
- Creating a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment
We are looking for:
- QTS or a recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working with SEND pupils
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
- Confidence supporting pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or complex needs
- A genuine passion for helping young people progress
