TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic SEND provision in Leeds, supporting with their search for a dedicated SEND Teacher. This welcoming setting provides a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and young people, encouraging independence, confidence and personal development through a tailored and supportive curriculum.
The provision is looking to take on a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis with an immediate start. The successful SEND Teacher will be working with students aged 5 – 18 years old, supporting a range of additional needs and delivering engaging lessons that meet the individual learning requirements of pupils across different key stages.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
- QTS
- Experience working with children and young people with SEND
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A patient and resilient approach to teaching
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- A caring and adaptable nature
