TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Lichfield, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD and learning difficulties. The school promotes a nurturing and inclusive environment, ensuring all students feel supported, safe and able to thrive.

The school is looking to take on a dedicated Kitchen Assistant on a temporary to permanent basis. The successful Kitchen Assistant will support with food preparation, kitchen hygiene, and ensuring dietary requirements are met, while working closely with staff to maintain a safe and efficient kitchen environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Kitchen Assistant or in a catering environment
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Experience working in a school or care setting is desirable
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • A positive and proactive attitude
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
