TeacherActive is proud to be working with a number of private day nurseries across Huddersfield. We are looking for caring, reliable and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioners to provide flexible cover across different nursery settings.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking for day-to-day supply work, with the flexibility to choose the days that suit their availability. There may also be opportunities for longer-term placements and permanent positions within the nurseries.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting children's learning and development through engaging activities, creative play and daily routines. You will work alongside experienced nursery teams to create a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children.
The successful Early Years Practitioner will have:
- A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children in the UK
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (desirable)
- Previous experience working in a nursery, childcare or Early Years setting
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- The confidence to use their own initiative and adapt to different nursery environments
- A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
