TeacherActive is proud to be working with a further education setting in the Altrincham area. The college offers a supportive and inclusive environment, focused on helping learners achieve their academic goals and progress into further education or employment. The college is looking to take on a full time Maths Lecturer on a long term temporary basis.
The successful Maths Lecturer will be delivering GCSE Maths resit sessions to post-16 learners, supporting students of mixed ability and encouraging engagement, progress and attainment in a classroom setting.
The successful Maths Lecturer will have:
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Experience delivering GCSE Maths
- Experience working within an FE or post-16 setting
- Strong classroom management and engagement skills
- The ability to support learners of mixed ability
- A positive and adaptable approach to teaching
