Job Title: Food Technology Teacher – Secondary Schools (Full-time or Part-time)

Salary: £160 - £200 per day, depending on experience

About the Role
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging and dynamic lessons to students across KS3 & KS4, inspiring creativity, confidence, and a love for Food Technology. You will work across a range of supportive and forward‑thinking secondary schools, each committed to high‑quality teaching and excellent student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver creative Food Technology lessons aligned with the national curriculum
- Teach a range of Food Technology skills, including performance, composition, and theory
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Contribute to school concerts, Food Technology clubs, and extracurricular activities
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary or FE level
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Food Technology education
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible and adaptable approach to working across multiple sites
