Role Overview
Secondary (KS1 Working Level) Bolton Start: ASAP Β£150 β Β£210 per day (depending on experience). Are you a passionate SEND Teacher who thrives on making a real difference?
Responsibilities
- Teach secondary-aged pupils accessing a KS1-style curriculum.
- Deliver engaging, personalised lessons that focus on communication, engagement and life skills.
- Work closely with LSAs, SENCOs and therapists to support individual EHCP targets.
- Create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom environment.
- Support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, SEMH, MLD and complex needs.
Qualifications
- Hold QTS/QTLS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification).
- Have experience teaching in a SEND, SEMH or specialist provision.
- Be confident differentiating for pupils working significantly below age-related expectations.
- Exhibit strong behaviour management with a trauma-informed, child-centred approach.
- Be calm, resilient and genuinely passionate about SEND education.
