TeacherActive is excited to be working with a supportive and welcoming school in Exeter that is looking to appoint a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant. Responsibilities
- Support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping with classroom engagement, emotional regulation, and learning.
- Assist in creating a calm, patient, and adaptable learning environment.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND (e.g., Autism, ADHD, SEMH).
- A caring and proactive attitude.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
