The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and reliable Exams Officer to manage the planning, administration, and delivery of all internal and external examinations. This is a key role that ensures examinations are conducted in line with awarding body regulations and college policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the administration of all internal exams.
  • Liaise with awarding bodies, staff, and students regarding exam entries, timetables and results.
  • Organise exam timetables, seating plans, and access arrangements.
  • Train and manage invigilators.
  • Oversee secure handling of exam papers and confidential materials.
  • Maintain accurate records and exam-related data.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Experience in an exams or administration role (education sector desirable).
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and exam management systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and external bodies.
