The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and reliable Exams Officer to manage the planning, administration, and delivery of all internal and external examinations. This is a key role that ensures examinations are conducted in line with awarding body regulations and college policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the administration of all internal exams.
- Liaise with awarding bodies, staff, and students regarding exam entries, timetables and results.
- Organise exam timetables, seating plans, and access arrangements.
- Train and manage invigilators.
- Oversee secure handling of exam papers and confidential materials.
- Maintain accurate records and exam-related data.
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in an exams or administration role (education sector desirable).
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and exam management systems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and external bodies.
