The predicted salary is between 32 - 36 £ per hour.

We are looking for a passionate Electrical Engineering Lecturer with teaching experience. TeacherActive is a mainstream college based in Chelmsford with an OFSTED ‘Good’ rating. We provide high standards of education and a modern, inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging Electrical Engineering lessons to further education students;
  • Inspire learners to pursue a career in the field;
  • Support students to achieve excellent results following the college’s schemes of learning.

Qualifications:

  • First class or 2:1 degree in Electrical Engineering;
  • QTS, PGCE or DTTLS, or equivalent teaching qualification;
  • Experience teaching in a diverse further education setting;
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills;
  • Desirable: SEND and/or pastoral experience;
  • Current DBS on the update service.
