TeacherActive is working with a lovely Forest School setting in Cropwell Bishop that is looking for a Nursery Assistant to join their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a more hands‑on approach to Early Years education, supporting children to build confidence, independence and curiosity through outdoor play, exploration and engaging activities.
What you'll be doing:
- Supporting children with learning through play and exploration
- Getting involved in fun, creative outdoor activities
- Creating a safe, caring and stimulating environment
- Supporting children's individual development and wellbeing
- Working closely with the wider nursery team
- Building positive relationships with children and parents
We're looking for someone who is:
- Caring, patient and enthusiastic
- Confident working with Early Years children
- Happy working outdoors in all seasons
- Reliable and able to use their initiative
- A great team player with strong communication skills
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare qualified is desirable
The nursery can offer flexibility, with the opportunity to work 4 days per week or 5 shorter days, making this a brilliant option for someone looking for a better work-life balance.
